Developed a custom bakery eCommerce website for Flour & Stone using WordPress and WooCommerce, designed to handle a highly complex baking, ordering, and delivery workflow. The project involved managing more than 140 products with different preparation schedules, pickup windows, and delivery availability depending on the day and time.
To solve this, I developed a custom-coded WordPress plugin that automatically controlled product availability based on business rules, baking schedules, and delivery conditions. The system ensured customers could only order products available for their selected pickup or delivery timeframe, improving order accuracy and reducing manual management for the bakery team.
The website was also integrated with delivery partners to streamline local and national deliveries, while maintaining a smooth and user-friendly shopping experience. Additional work included responsive frontend development, WooCommerce customisation, product organisation, and optimisation for performance and usability across devices.
